Biography

Joseph Calabrese is a personal injury attorney and Associate at Zaremba Brown PLLC, where he focuses his practice on construction accidents, Labor Law claims, and serious injury matters arising from unsafe work conditions throughout New York City.

Joseph graduated from Poly Prep Country Day School in 2011, where he was a four-year varsity baseball starter and team captain for one of the nation’s top high school baseball programs. He went on to play Division I baseball at Fordham University from 2011 to 2015, earning his undergraduate degree in American Studies through Fordham University’s Honors Program. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, graduating in 2020.

A born and raised New Yorker, Joseph brings a deep, personal connection to his work. He grew up in a family of construction workers, which instilled in him a strong appreciation for the physical demands and risks faced by construction workers on New York’s job sites. That background fuels his passion for protecting the rights of injured workers and holding negligent owners, contractors, and employers accountable.

While in law school, Joseph interned at Zaremba Brown PLLC and joined the firm as an Associate upon graduation. During his time at the firm, he has worked closely with the partners on numerous high-stakes matters, contributing to cases that have resulted in millions of dollars recovered for injured clients. He is actively involved in all phases of litigation, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, preparing cases for trial, and advocating for clients through settlement and litigation.

As an attorney, Joseph is known for his hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to his clients. He takes pride in personally handling each case and working tirelessly to achieve meaningful results for those injured due to unsafe construction practices and negligence.
